• I am Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in American Studies at the Université de Pau et des Pays de l'Adour. I obtained my PhD from the Università degli Studi di Milano (Italy) and worked at the University of Reading and University College London (UCL) in the UK. I also worked at the Library of Congress, Washington D.C. as a Kluge Fellow and at Université Jean-Jaurès in Toulouse before joining UPPA and the research group ALTER (UR 7504) in 2019. My field of expertise is Memory Studies, Oral History, twentieth-century War and Culture Studies and the history of migration. Currently, I co-lead the research project Les Anglophones à Pau. Récits d'une expérience migratoire. At the same time, I am preparing the monograph Name, Rank and Number. Interrogation, Interviewing and Questioning in the Second World War and Its Aftermath (1939-1949), based on the research carried out in the UK at the National Archives, Kew, the Imperial War Museum, London, and in the U.S. at the NARA, College Park, the Library of Congress and the USHMM, Washington D.C. among other institutions.
